摩尔多瓦共和国（Republic of Moldova），简称摩尔多瓦，是位于东南欧的内陆国，与罗马尼亚和乌克兰接壤，首都基希讷乌。摩尔多瓦共和国位于欧洲巴尔干半岛东北部多瑙河下游，绝大部分国土介于普鲁特河和德涅斯特河之间。东、北部与乌克兰接壤，西隔普鲁特河与罗马尼亚毗邻，东南部遥望黑海，形如倒挂的葡萄串。全国境内蕴藏着丰富的非金属富矿。其中硅藻土是摩尔多瓦的一种宝贵矿物资源。摩尔多瓦国土面积的80%是黑土高产田，适宜农作物生长，盛产葡萄、食糖、食油和烟草等，曾是苏联水果和浆果、玉米、向日葵和蔬菜等农作物的生产基地之一。

Moldova, officially the Republic of Moldova is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe, bordered by Romania to the west and Ukraine to the north, east, and south. The capital city is Chișinău. Moldova earned its fame in Europe for its high quality wine with unique flavor and competitive price. It was the one of the most productive lifelines of crops and fruits in previous Soviet Union.
