近日，赞比亚驻华使馆代办卡拉卢卡先生正式确认出席我会主办的第十五届中国对外投资合作洽谈会（简称“外洽会”），期待通过这一平台深化中赞经贸合作，共享发展机遇。
 
赞比亚位于非洲中南部，是矿产资源极为丰富的内陆国家，素有“铜矿之国”之称，铜蕴藏量约2000万吨，钴、铅、锌、镍等有色金属储量亦十分可观，绿宝石等宝石资源享誉世界。该国水利资源丰富，农业发展潜力巨大，全国森林覆盖率达45%。近年来，赞比亚政府积极改善营商环境，重点推动矿业、农业、能源、基础设施等领域发展，吸引外资参与国家建设，投资前景广阔。
 
中海协将通过外洽会等平台，携手会员企业深化中赞投资与经贸合作，为两国共同繁荣发展注入新动力。（业务四部供稿） Mr. MAJ.GEN ARTHUR KALALUKA, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Zambia to China, has confirmed his attendance at the 15th China Overseas Investment Fair (COIFAIR). The event is scheduled to take place on November 3, 2026, at Beijing International Hotel Convention Center. The Chargé d’Affaires aims to leverage this platform to advance China-Zambia economic and trade ties and explore shared development opportunities.
Zambia holds around 20 million tonnes of proven copper reserves, alongside cobalt, lead, zinc, nickel and world-famous emeralds. Endowed with ample water resources and great agricultural potential, it has a 45% forest coverage rate. In recent years, the Zambian Government has optimized the business climate, prioritizing mining, agriculture, energy and infrastructure to attract foreign investment, offering promising cooperation prospects.
Through the COIFAIR platform, the CODA will work with its member enterprises to boost China-Zambia investment and trade ties, galvanizing new momentum for the common prosperity of both countries.(Contributed by Business Department 4)
